Daddy Does Date Night #ad | Channel Mum Challenge

This weekend we enjoyed a wonderful date night courtesy of Iceland!

The lovely's over at Channel mum challenged the channel 'dad's' to wine & dine their partners using the new luxury frozen range from Iceland. You can check out the other date night videos here.
We headed down to Iceland and the other half picked what was the most amazing home cooked meal.

Surf 'N' Turf consisting of 2 sizeable fillet steaks & 4 huge whole king prawns! This cost just £10 which we were shocked at, you all know the price of a fillet steak and for the weight you would be lucky paying that for one steak, let alone the rest!

We opted for a classic side dish in our house - lobster! We love Iceland's Canadian whole lobster & make regular trips to Iceland just for that. It is exceptional value for money at just £6.

The meal was simply delicious, the steak cooked to perfection and succulent. Put it this way - I've eaten fillet steak in many high end restaurants and this gave them a run for their money.

Keeping with the theme the prawns were beautifully flavored and as usual the lobster was a massive hit.
On to dessert - the boy did well in choosing the 'Pot Au Chocloat' (chocolate pots) right up my street, you can't go wrong with anything containing chocolate!
We had a great evening in - putting the babes to bed early and what felt like being in a restaurant at home!

Thank you to Iceland & Channel Mum!

What's your perfect date night?
