Day in the life with two girls under two 05/10/2016 | Rebecca Hollick

Day in the life with two under two 05/10/2016

My life seems to be flying by with my two babies - I want to document as much as I can, plus I love hearing what everyone's days look like.
Here's what we did today, chronologically.

6:30am Kaia wakes up making cute noises in the moses basket, she is happy to be snuggled back to sleep for a couple of hours.

8.20am Kaia wakes up for a feed & change, we do this downstairs with daddy too

9am I clean, so hoover all of downstairs first in case Leia wakes up so she can crawl on the floor. Do any washing up, clean the sides, cupboards, bring out the recycling. Bleach the toilet!

10am Leias awake, give her a bottle, change, clean teeth, wash face
11am Bath Leia, play, watch tv. Reply to blog emails.

12 Kaia agrees to a mini photo shoot for organic brand Bambini & Me
1pm Leias lunchtime, Kaias feed - shes on 9oz currently.

3pm Both girls nap - check emails, tidy away from lunch, do the recycling / bins, have a cup of tea & lunch

5pm Watch tv, start settling down for the night, bottles, brush girls teeth, change for bed

7.30pm Kaia starts to get sleepy, falls asleep by 8pm snuggling in to her pretty little polka dot dummy clip and JoJo mouse comforter - she cant decide which she prefers!

8pm Kaia goes in the moses basket

9pm The apprentice!

10pm Leia falls asleep after a banana & a chocolate ice cream!

I love having my girls pretty much on the same routine, makes mummy life SO much easier.

What is your daily routine?

The Aurora Mint Teething Necklace by Mama & Belle

I don't know what it is about the name Aurora but anything with that in the title makes me intrigued.

I love the name & it just reminds me of watching the clarks advert where the girl was in an enchanted forest and had a locket on her shoe!

The Aurora Mint teething necklace by Mama & Belle is perfectly named. The first thing I thought when I opened it is that it actually looks enchanting & magical!
The gorgeously designed hexagon shaped beads include Mama & Belle's brand new rose-gold & marble beads. They literally remind me of treasure!

The necklace is the perfect addition to any jewellery collection but is clearly multi functional for mummy & baby!
Both Leia & Kaia are constantly pulling on my hair (owch) or grasping my top (Kaia especially).

With gift boxes available at checkout these are the perfect baby shower gift, or as a little treat for yourself  the perfect solution for keeping little hands busy.

The necklaces are made from high quality, BPA free, food grade silicone, feature a breakaway clasp for added safety & help develop tactile awareness.

Leia LOVES mummy's new toy, she literally wants to take the necklace from me! My new little distraction toy for her not to pull my hair!
I have really been enjoying wearing the necklace & cant wait to add to our (my) collection!
You can view the beautiful collection here.
Have you tried teething jewellery?

Ermana Soothe Mama Body Oil & Balm

I was recently sent the most gorgeous gift set by skincare brand Ermana
They specialise in nourishing and hydrating natural nutrition for your skin which really appealed to me.
I love brands that are more natural and organic which is why I love Ermana so much.
As you saw in a previous post I received the 'Soothe Mama' Gift set consisting of an oil based body oil & the gorgeous body balm, more of a grainy consistency.
This is my second pregnancy in the space of 18 months (my eldest is just 14 months) so I wanted to be sure the stretch mark prevention was in full force.
I started out the testing phase using the body oil. To be honest the reason why is I loved the pipette feature so you just drip it in the problematic areas.
The oil is not greasy at all, and you only need two drops to cover your whole belly - it contains  vitamin e, jojoba, apricot and macadamia oil so smells gorgeous but isn't too sweet.

I actually even ended up using the oil in Leia's hair (I am huge on hair oils and just thought I would put the excess from my hands straight on to her hair). I let her sleep with the oil in her hair over night and it was so manageable the next day.
More recently I have moved on the the balm which I am possibly even more obsessed with! The balm contains cocoa, shea & coconut butter and the application feels amazing, I apply morning and night to my bump - in the mornings I usually put the excess on my upper body area too. being 31 weeks I want to make sure I use the entirety of the product up - this more so as I could use the oil in our hair as a treatment.

I would highly recommend you giving the Ermana range a try - pregnant or not.
The Soothe Mama Body Balm & Soothe Mama Body Oil retail at £22 each if purchased separately, alternatively the gift set is available for £44 which would make a gorgeous gift for any mum to be!

Perfect First Birthday Gift | Nattou Baby Rocking Horse

The Nattou baby rocker is honestly the prettiest toy I have seen to date. It would look perfectly placed in any little girl’s nursery.
We chose the Charlotte & Rose Giraffe Rocker. I found ours here

The rocker was delivered the day after we ordered it so super quick, which was impressive.
Inside the box was a fully assembled (yay!) baby rocker. I know it’s not a horse but I keep calling it a rocking horse (as you do).
The rocker is strategically placed within a clear plastic storage bag with handles. We have used it for clothes storage (a whole other story!)
The only additional packaging is polystyrene covers on the rocking part of the toy.
The seat and giraffe is super plush and very soft and looks very safe as long as your baby is sitting up rather sturdy and unaided. At this stage we wouldn’t leave Leia in the rocker alone just in case, although there is a waist harness on the seating level.

Leia found the rocker easy to use & although wobbly absolutely loved it!
The rocker is suitable from 10 – 36 months. I love this brand and am so glad I found it.

Did you get your baby a rocking horse, if so which one did you go for?

Galt Toys | Product review

Leia is at that age now where she is in to everything! We are always looking for new ways to keep her entertained, so trying the 'Ambi Toys' range from Galt was perfect!
The current Ambi toy range focuses on the old classics which I love.
The range starts from 3 months and up which is perfect for Leia's teeny tiny newborn hands.
I just knew as soon as I saw the gift set online she would love the humpty dumpty toy as she spotted it in her sensory class and she didn't want to put it down!
The bright colours really do get your baby interacting. L loves to 'bash' toys together at the moment so the key set is a lovely addition to her high chair toys.
They feel fantastic in quality so these really will last a lifetime, one of the toys you will look back on as a family favourite.

The website has a great little selection which you can check out here
I think I'll be making a cheeky purchase of the pop up pals or max pull along - they both look great and I know she will love those.
