The Organic Baby Bib | Skibz Product Review

My little lady Kaia is now 7 weeks old & I feel somewhat qualified (again) to be talking about our favourite products.

A clear favourite in our house is the purely luxurious organic vanilla bib we were sent by the lovely Skibz, so much so we took it to hospital with us so it was the first product we used when Kaia was born.

As far as a dribble bib goes I did not actually think there would be a favourite, that is of course until we were sent this. The bib just feels ultra absorbent & beautifully soft, perfectly designed for a newborns delicate skin.
It really is just gorgeous.

Named as one of The Independent's '14 Best Organic Baby Gifts' and Mini Vogue's '10 Best Natural Products for Babies'

Made from 63% bamboo towelling with a natural cotton lining, with a tested and unique double layer backing system to provide ultimate absorbency

Skibz were the original and first ever scarf bib; the trendsetters of the neckerchief bib baby fashion phenomenon. Skibz boast the most attractive and absorbent bandana bibs you could buy for your baby. The perfect dribble bib for teething babies, these bibs will draw away moisture from their necks and chests to prevent soreness and chafing, keeping your baby happily, comfortably dry.

We absolutely loved testing out the Skibz range & this bib will be going in Kaia's little box of newborn goodies we have saved for her.

What dribble bibs have you found work well?

Ermana Soothe Mama Body Oil & Balm

I was recently sent the most gorgeous gift set by skincare brand Ermana
They specialise in nourishing and hydrating natural nutrition for your skin which really appealed to me.
I love brands that are more natural and organic which is why I love Ermana so much.
As you saw in a previous post I received the 'Soothe Mama' Gift set consisting of an oil based body oil & the gorgeous body balm, more of a grainy consistency.
This is my second pregnancy in the space of 18 months (my eldest is just 14 months) so I wanted to be sure the stretch mark prevention was in full force.
I started out the testing phase using the body oil. To be honest the reason why is I loved the pipette feature so you just drip it in the problematic areas.
The oil is not greasy at all, and you only need two drops to cover your whole belly - it contains  vitamin e, jojoba, apricot and macadamia oil so smells gorgeous but isn't too sweet.

I actually even ended up using the oil in Leia's hair (I am huge on hair oils and just thought I would put the excess from my hands straight on to her hair). I let her sleep with the oil in her hair over night and it was so manageable the next day.
More recently I have moved on the the balm which I am possibly even more obsessed with! The balm contains cocoa, shea & coconut butter and the application feels amazing, I apply morning and night to my bump - in the mornings I usually put the excess on my upper body area too. being 31 weeks I want to make sure I use the entirety of the product up - this more so as I could use the oil in our hair as a treatment.

I would highly recommend you giving the Ermana range a try - pregnant or not.
The Soothe Mama Body Balm & Soothe Mama Body Oil retail at £22 each if purchased separately, alternatively the gift set is available for £44 which would make a gorgeous gift for any mum to be!
